LOCAL TELEPHONE CALLS

To dial a local call within the city or region you are in simply dial the 7 digit phone number of the business or person you are trying to call.

LONG DISTANCE CALLS

To make a long distance call you must have a phone card or your call will be charged to the phone you are using.  To dial a long distance call in Canada you must first dial 1 and then the area code and then the 7 digit phone number.  See below if you are unsure of the area codes within each province and region.
